FILIPINOS IN RABAT JOIN THE FIRST EPISODE OF FIESTA FILIPINAS SEASON 2: PAHIYAS FESTIVAL

2 April 2022 – As part of the Department’s initiative to bring Filipino fiestas to our kababayans abroad, the Philippine Embassy in Rabat invited members of the Filipino community to join the online Fiesta Filipinas Season 2: Pahiyas Festival on 2 April 2022.

The participants took a virtual tour of the picturesque islands, rugged mountains and forests, and serene beaches of Quezon province, and enjoyed the unique andcolorful Pahiyas Festival through a full-sensory immersion brought by the fiesta kits. They also appreciated the opportunity to make their own kiping pahiyas lanterns, tosavor the unique taste of pancit habhab, and to revel in the beauty of Philippine culture.

The virtual Pahiyas Festival was organized by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). END
