Antonio, Chairperson of DLS-CSB Art Management Program Mr. Alain Zedrick Camiling, and DLS-CSB Professor Carlito Camahalan Amalla)

Representatives from the International Relations and Partnerships Department and Rabat School of Architecture of the Université International de Rabat (UIR) and the Arts Management Program of De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) explored the possibility of formalizing their partnership during a meeting held on 17 October 2022.

DLS-CSB, on its part, proposed organizing an intensive course for Filipino and Moroccan students enrolled in the architecture program of UIR and the arts management program of DLS-CSB, which may include lectures by professors from both institutions, visits to important architectural monuments in the Philippines and Morocco, and workshops on applied business administration and management of art and architecture institutions. UIR welcomed the proposal and invited DLS-CSB to negotiate a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) as the initial step to formalize their partnership.

The meeting between the two institutions was initiated by the Philippine Embassy in Rabat as part of its efforts to improve the bilateral cooperation between the Philippines and Morocco in the field of education. END
