PH-MALI RELATIONS TO BE STRENGTHENED

Ambassador Leslie J. Baja presented his credentials to President Assimi Goita as non-resident Philippine Ambassador to Mali on Thursday, 24 November.  Baja, who is based in Rabat, Morocco, assured the Malian President of the Philippines’ intentions to strengthen bilateral ties with Mali. He told the President of the Embassy’s plan to open an Honorary Consulate in Bamako in the future. President Goita, in turn, expressed appreciation for the Ambassador’s efforts and pledged that all support will be given to upgrade the relations to a new level.

Mali is one of the four jurisdictions of the Philippine Embassy in Rabat which also includes Guinea, Mauritania and Senegal. END
