FILIPINO SPORTSFEST, SEASON 5 IN CASABLANCA

Rabat, 28 February – The Filipino Fun Club-Morocco (FFC-MA), together with Filipinos United in Morocco (FUM) opened last Sunday, 26 February its Filipino SportsFest, Season 5 in Casablanca. The month-long tournament is participated in by a total of nine teams, four (4) in men’s basketball and five (5) in women’s volleyball with players from the Filipino Communities (FilComs) in Rabat, Safi, Bouskura, El Jadida, Essaouira, Marrakech and Casablanca.

Embassy representation were on hand to lend its full support and took the opportunity to inform kababayans of its projects and activities. The day-long fun filled day also treated all guests and participants to all-time Filipino favorite meals and snacks that were on sale. END
