PHILIPPINES AT THE 15TH EDITION OF INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL “CHILDREN OF PEACE”

Rabat, 27 July 2023 – A group of Filipino children based in Rabat and nearby cities of Temara and Salé joined yesterday, 26 July a parade of hundreds of children and youth from twenty (20) other countries in this year’s 15th edition of the International Festival “Children of Peace”. The parade concluded at the steps of Morocco’s Parliament where children of Embassy personnel and members of the Filipino Community in their “Filipiniana” attires proudly waved Philippine flaglets. This year’s week-long event (22-30 July 2023) include various activities (arts, songs, folkdances) that aims to promote friendship and foster understanding among the youths of different cultures.
