RABAT PE PROMOTES BISITA, BE MY GUEST (BBMG) AND FINANCIAL LITERACY FOR FILIPINOS IN MOROCCO

Rabat, 24 October 2023 - The Philippine Embassy in Rabat (Rabat PE) held last Sunday, 22 October a back to back forum promoting Philippine tourism and financial literacy, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism Office in London and
MegaWorld International-Prime Global Brand UK Ltd.

Ambassador Leslie J. Baja underlined in his welcome remarks the Embassy’s continuing agenda to promote among overseas Filipinos (OFs), locals and expatriates in Morocco, the new program of “ Bisita, Be My Guest “ designed to bring friends of OFs to the Philippines. He also stated that partnerships with the private sector, in this case Megaworld-Prime Global, would help strengthen financial literacy and awareness of OFs in this country in line with the Embassy’s economic diplomacy agenda in providing them with economic (investment) opportunities back home.

The forum is part of the Embassy’s series of activities leading up to the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Morocco in April 2025. END
