PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN RABAT CELEBRATES WOMEN’S MONTH

4 March 2024 - The Philippine Embassy in Rabat conducted its flag raising ceremony on the first Monday of March in commemoration of the start of 2024 National Women’s Month.  To add significance to the event, the flag was raised by GAD officers Monera Siriban and Angelie Cruz.

This year’s theme of Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan: Patunayan! highlights the capacity of women to be agents of transformational change leading towards development and growth of the country for the betterment of all Filipinos. It aims to capitalize on the recurring theme "WE for gender equality and inclusive society," introduced in 2023, which promotes and encourages the hope and ambition that WE (Women and Everyone) are all for gender equality and an inclusive society. END
