PHILIPPINE EMBASSY HOLDS PRE-VOTING ENROLLMENT ORIENTATION MEETINGS WITH FILCOM

Philippine Embassy in Rabat, in coordination with Comelec, briefs participants on pre-voting enrollment for the 2025 Overseas Voting

7 April 2025 - The Philippine Embassy in Rabat, as part of efforts to disseminate information on online overseas voting which begins on 13 April 2025 and lasts until 12 May 2025, held meetings with the Filipino Community on 29 March at the Philippine Embassy’s Chancery in Rabat, and on 6 April 2025 at the Philippine Honorary Consulate-General in Casablanca.

During these meetings, Embassy representatives shared information regarding online voting, the requirements needed to enroll for online voting, and general reminders on the importance of voting and the responsibility of each Filipino to keep ballots safe and confidential.

Comelec representatives’ Dir. Ian Michael Geonanga, Dir. Jan Jordan Poon, and Ms. Jessa Padilla were also present during the Q&A open forum portion to assist in answering questions from the participants. The embassy also provided general assistance on pre-voting enrollment for participants who were registered overseas voters during this time.

Comelec’s official pre-voting enrollment website can be accessed through https://ov.comelec.gov.ph/enroll. Pre-voting enrollment is available to registered Overseas Filipino Voters until 07 May 2025. END
