POSSIBLE AGREEMENT BETWEEN PHILIPPINE AND MOROCCAN NEWS AGENCIES

Philippine Ambassador to Morocco Leslie J. Baja met with Moroccan News Agency (MAP) Director-General Khalil Hachimi Idrissi to discuss possible areas of cooperation including the conclusion of a Memorandum of Understanding between MAP and the Philippine News Agency (PNA).

Ambassador Baja underscored the importance of increasing awareness of and between the two countries especially as both have just opened their respective embassies recently. For his part, DG Idrissi welcomed the efforts of the Embassy to re-establish networks and invited them to participate in the MAP Diplomatic Forum in the near future.
