PHILIPPINE EMBASSY JOINS THE FILIPINO COMMUNITY IN CELEBRATING SIMBANG GABI

16 December 2021 – The Philippine Embassy in Rabat, headed by Philippine Ambassador Leslie J. Baja, joined the Filipino community in Morocco in celebrating the first night of Simbang Gabi at the Church of Saint Francis of Assisi in Rabat, Morocco.

The mass was officiated by Filpino priest, Rev. Melito Pinili. It is the first of the nine-day devotional mass attended by Filipino Catholics before Christmas day.

After the ceremony, the attendees gathered for a salo-salo over warm Arroz Caldo, a traditional Filipino dish, served by the Embassy. END
