ADVISORY ON ONLINE VOTING
The Embassy of the Philippines in Morocco informs all the registered overseas Filipino voters in Morocco, Guinea, Mauritania, Mali, and Senegal of the following:
- The voting period is from 13 April (8:00 AM local time) until 12 May (12:00 NN local time) ONLY.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR ONLINE VOTING
1. Who are the candidates for the 2025 midterm elections?
The list of candidates are available in the COMELEC website: https://comelec.gov.ph/php-tpls-attachments/2025NLE/2025BallotFace/OV.pdf
2. How can I cast my vote for the 2025 midterm elections?
- Login to the COMELEC online voting website: https://ov.comelec.gov.ph/vote
- Type your username (email address or mobile number) and password. For voters who are using their mobile number, please do not forget to put the area code “+212” followed by the nine-digit mobile number (example: +212 659123456).
- Select candidates for Senator and Party List by following the instructions on the website. The online voting system allows voters to choose up to a maximum of twelve (12) senatorial candidates and one (1) party list. The system also allows undervoting and abstention.
- Review your online ballot carefully. Votes cannot be edited or revised after submission.
- Once you are sure of the contents of your online ballot, click “CAST MY DIGITAL BALLOT.”
- If the voting is successful, the system will confirm that you have successfully voted.
- The system has a three-minute time limit for voting. If you have not finished casting your vote within the said time limit, you will be automatically logged out from the system. As long as voters do not click on “cast my digital ballot”, they can log-in again at another time to select their candidates.
3. Am I still allowed to vote in case I forgot my password?
YES. Voters who forgot their password are advised to type their username and then click “Forgot Password” located on the lower right portion of the Internet Voting Login page. You should receive an email or SMS providing instructions on how to reset your password.
4. Do I need to go to the Embassy to cast my vote?
NO. Registered overseas voters may cast their vote anywhere as long as they have a stable internet connection. However, the Embassy will provide a voting kiosk at its premises (N-23 Rue Bani Ritoune, Souissi, Rabat) for persons with disabilities, senior citizens, pregnant women, and illiterate individuals.
5. What are the PROHIBITED ACTS during the voting process?
- Voters should not reveal the contents of the digital ballot to any person. Voters are enjoined to protect the sanctity of their ballots by keeping its contents CONFIDENTIAL.
- Voters should not be accompanied by anyone while casting their vote, except when in need of an assistant (i.e., for senior citizens, PWD, pregnant women, and illiterate individuals).
- Voters should not speak to anyone while accomplishing the online ballot.
- Voters should not post a copy of their digital ballot on their social media accounts.
